The Presbytery of the Cascades is composed of over 120 churches in Southwestern Washington, Western Oregon, and part of Northern California. The Presbytery’s summer camp program serves youth and families from these churches, other churches and those with no church affiliation.
Camp Magruder and Suttle Lake are camps owned by the United Methodist Oregon-Idaho Camp and Conference Centers. These ACA accredited campsites provide safe places, accessible throughout our region, for campers to experience the love of God surrounded by God’s creation, Our day camp is at Menucha, owned by First Presbyterian Church of Portland. Family Camp is held at Honeyman State Park.
Our camps are staffed by volunteers from our churches, many who trained to be counselors through our Counselor program. These pastors, youth leaders, and young adults are dedicated to the safety and spiritual grouth of our campers. The program is coordinated by a Presbytery staff member.
